 MISHAPs:  08 FEB 56 A/C: WV2 Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation LOCATION: McMurdo Sound, Antarctica  TYPE: Crash  SRIKE: No DEATHS: 00  BUNO: Unknown CAUSE: The aircraft, from the Oceanographic Development Squadron Eight (VXN-8) crashed upon landing at McMurdo Sound. He died August 9, l985 of pancreatic cancer.
