AIRCRAFT: NAS Olathe/VP-881 PB4Y-2 BUNO: 59831 "...According to my source, this Consolidated PB4Y Privateer was assigned to Reserve Air Wing 88 (RAW-88) at NAS Olathe, Kansas. Until October 1956 - the only reserve patrol squadron associated with RAW-88 was VP-881. It is very likely that these same aircraft were used by VP-881 for weekend drills and the Shipmates in the images are in fact VP-881 personnel at NAS Brunswick, Maine participating in a weekend drill..."
